- Customers may modify or cancel their booking up to 24 hours before the scheduled delivery time without incurring any charges.
- Late cancellations may result in a cancellation fee, typically equivalent to a percentage of the total hire cost.
2. Hire Period
The hire period commences upon delivery of the skip to the designated location and concludes upon collection. Customers are required to adhere to the agreed hire duration to avoid additional charges.
2.1. Extension of Hire Period
- Extensions must be requested at least 24 hours before the end of the hire period.
- Additional fees may apply based on the extended duration.
3. Usage Guidelines
Customers must use the skip bins responsibly and in compliance with local regulations. The following guidelines must be observed:
- Only acceptably permitted waste materials may be disposed of in the skip. Prohibited items include hazardous materials, chemicals, paints, and asbestos.
- Skip bins must not be overfilled. Adequate space should be left to allow the lid to close securely.
- The skip should be placed on a stable, level surface to prevent accidents.
3.1. Prohibited Activities
- Using the skip for illegal activities or disposing of stolen goods is strictly forbidden.
- Animals or live plants must not be contained within the skip.
4. Payment Terms
Payments must be made in full at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed upon. Accepted payment methods include credit/debit cards, direct bank transfers, and other electronic payment systems.
4.1. Late Payments
- Late payments may incur interest charges as specified in the invoice.
- Non-payment may result in the suspension of services and additional collection fees.
5. Liability and Insurance
Skip Hire Archway strives to provide safe and reliable services. However, the company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the skip bins.
5.1. Customer Responsibility
- Customers are responsible for ensuring that the skip is placed in a location that does not cause obstruction or damage to property.
- It is the customer's duty to maintain the integrity of the skip during the hire period.
6. Access and Location
Customers must ensure that the delivery and collection of the skip are possible at the designated site. Skip Hire Archway is not responsible for any delays or inability to deliver due to inaccessibility.
6.1. Site Preparation
- Clear space and remove obstacles to facilitate the safe placement of the skip.
- Ensure that the ground is suitable and can support the weight of the skip when filled.
7. Health and Safety
Compliance with health and safety regulations is mandatory. Customers must adhere to the safety instructions provided with the skip hire to prevent accidents and injuries.
7.1. Safe Loading Practices
- Heavy items should be placed at the bottom of the skip to maintain stability.
- Sharp objects should be securely bagged to prevent injury during handling.
8. Waste Management
Proper disposal and management of waste are essential. Customers are responsible for sorting and segregating waste as required by local waste disposal regulations.
8.1. Recycling Obligations
- Recyclable materials should be separated and placed in designated areas within the skip.
- Failure to comply with recycling obligations may result in additional fees.
9. Force Majeure
Skip Hire Archway shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations due to events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, or other unforeseen circumstances.
9.1. Notification
- In the event of a force majeure, the company will notify the customer as soon as possible.
- Efforts will be made to reschedule services; however, no guarantees can be provided.
10. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Skip Hire Archway operates. Any disputes arising from the hire services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the local courts.
10.1. Dispute Resolution
- Customers are encouraged to contact Skip Hire Archway to resolve any disputes amicably.

11. Amendments to Terms and Conditions
